Super Hive Launch Bundle

Question

I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask this. I’m just going to go for it.

Has anyone purchased this yet?

What add-ons etc are included? I am likely going to purchase this, I just would like some more info than what is provided. Is there a comprehensive list of what is included with this purchase? Or perhaps some documentation or details of what is included?Do you have to download all of the files in one download or how does it work?

Is this something that a new blender user like myself would find value it? Any and all information would be GREATLY appreciated!

just To note, this looks like a killer deal for some really nice software for Blender, I just want to be sure it will offer me some tools that would be relevant to me at this stage in my Blender journey.

Thanks all!

If you go thru the images at the bottom of the main image it shows you what addons it adds. I haven't installed all of them yet, but the real time materials by Ducky 3D and Sanctus Library are worth $30+ on their own.

I like to understand Blender and it's default stage first, go through the raw Blender experience and feel for myself what is uncomfortable and could be improved, what tools are a pain, etc. That way when I see what an addon does, I can judge much more faithfully how it will positively impact my workflow. Rest assure though, all those addons are more than likely incredibly useful, it's just tat there are so many stages in the 3D pipeline, modeling, texturing, shading, rigging, etc. that it'll depend on what you focus to work on that will determine if those addons are going to be useful for you or not. Maybe think about them as a parachute, you're not always going to need one, but when you do, you'll be glad you had it around to use it.

It feels like cheating having all of these shaders available in one click. Is this acceptable in most 3D communities?

It feels like that to everyone at first. When you're learning you feel you have to do everything yourself, otherwise you feel you will be lying if you say yes when someone asks "wow that's cool, did you do that?". But picture it like building a house, did you build your house? Yes. Did you made the cement from scratch? Did you build the hammer, cut down the tree for the wood yourself? Did you made all the furniture that go inside yourself from scratch? You don't have to go getting all the primary elements and do every little thing from nothing, most stuffs are pre-made, and yet when you build the foundations, design and lift your house from nothing, you feel it's your creation. Same with 3D, you don't have to make all the sharders or the models from scratch, you can help yourself out and not have to reinvent the wheel each time. That said, be sure to learn the basic of shading, it's always a good idea to have foundational knowledge.
