Where can I find a quick overview/tutorial on the use of the NLA and action editor in blender? I'm confused on how to edit different actions without changing the original ones.
Same here, but it's mentioned here and there as far as I could look into it. I was hoping for getting a directly usable resource as the first few results in youtube kind of missed the issues I have. I'll continue my search and share my findings here.
found this one from CBailey that really takes you from the basics, and I see now why I struggled: I didn't understand how to store the animatio in action editor and push it into that action so that it would free the animation keyframes in the main dopesheet (if I make sense), AND in 4.4 some buttons are now hidden in the menu structure here it is; https://youtu.be/Hz1TwvSNsrA
