I am just showing off my version of the cookie, but also something I've been trying to figure out on my own before starting this course. The cookie is below:
I have also been trying to work out how to model people, currently practicing heads, because I want to be able to do animations some day and this is a wall I've been running into since before the course started (I started the course to shore up my basics so I'd have better knowledge of the appropriate tools). This is the best human head I've done so far. Ruskin Splinter from the children's book Krindlekrax:
The neck and jaw are a little wonky but I'm proud of my progress thus far. The holes are because I don't know how to do ears yet.
Looking great. But don't worry, modeling humans is not easy, it is the crowning jewel of computer graphics, so it'll take time. You just have to practice a lot. There's courses on sculpting and the famous HUMAN course by Kent that you can watch when you're done with the Fundamentals.
