Hi,
I followed the instruction and yet after the brush was created....i was not able to paint. I have attached a screenshot below....please advise if i have missed anything.
P.S I am using Blender 4.3

You need an Image Texture to paint on and if you want to see the result on the Cube, you need to make sure it is Unwrapped and has a Material with said Image Texture:
