Sign in to confirm after I signed in is a real pain.

you don't even provide a data entry box to sign into. Website is worse than the courses.

Hello Jeff. Can you detail that issue a little further? Doesn't sound like something that should be happening. Perhaps you can post screenshots of the issues so we can pass along to the devs. Also the course is introductory, just the basics to slowly get you clicking away at Blender. Fundamentals and in depth courses come later.

    Hey jlthorne
As Omar Said, can you give more details of the issue you are having, some screenshots would be a great help too.
You can send it over to support@cgcookie.com, or click the help button bottom right.

I think the course I am taking is really good!  And I expect as I go further they will always be exceptional, but. the website needs work to be a lot more user friendly.  After so much time it asks me to sign in again, but I have already signed in to get to the courses.  And you don't provide an entry form,  if I log out and back in it still asks.  Complete waste of time and distracting.  Your site should also have a way to keep track of any course I have looked at so I can easily go back and look again.  I am new, but so maybe I am missing that feature.  Even if I could add them to a favorites category to  keep track would be nice.  Searching for a course that I already started is also a waste of time.

Next time I see the sign in issue I will send a screenshot.  I really like the course I am taking and look forward to more lessons.  I was frustrated when I wrote that, obviously,  I should have been nicer, and I will work on that in the future.   Sorry, and thanks for the response.  Jeff Thorne

Oh you mean the website logs you off after a certain period of time? It last like two weeks or something like that, then you have to log in again. Isn't that a sort of protective feature? Just in case you leave your account logged in where you're not supposed to? That might be it, perhaps.

In your dashboard, you have a progress menu:

    Progress.png

There you can see all the stats it tracks for your courses. Percentages, complete and incomplete lessons and exercises:

When you log in there is a checkbox for remember me. You need to check it before you login. When you're in a course in the left(computer) or at the bottom(phone) you have the list of course videos. As you complete a video it will be marked with a green check to the left of the video name. Click dashboard will show you activity including the last 3 courses you are working on. Click the course then click continue course and you will be on the video you where last on. You can also see all courses you have started and your progress thru dashboard->progress. To continue just click course then click continue course.

Note: if your security settings or you clear your cookies then this will wipe out the remember you cookie information and you will have to log back in. Also the cookie does time out but that's like weeks later.
