I still feel like I need a lot more practice but at least I can shade some basic things and connect textures that were made by professionals.

    You've done an awesome job with this exercise Absurditas
    Practising never ends, even if you do this for a job, all the 3d stuff you produce is practicing to gain more experience.
    Blender and 3D CG is so huge, you will never stop learning something new.

    Very nice result. Love the little details with the crunched up post-its and all.

    One little nitpick: If you want more photo-realism the grain direction on the front edge of the table should be parallel to the face grain on the table top, not perpendicular.
