Along the tutorials I messed something up and the displacement wasn't updating the silhouette of the model, only its interiors (like a normal map). I went back some saves (where the problem wasn't present) and updated the shader, but I was wondering, what may have cause this problem? Thx :)

    Hmm it sounds like the experimental displacement feature may have wigged out. Since it not officially a supported aspect of Cycles this isn't too surprising I guess.
