Brush setup

Just curious if these brushes set up still has to be manually added at each project or if this system has improved and perhaps we can be loaded faster by now? Like a library of brushes such as we can build on Photoshop?

Brush asset library hasn't been added yet, but you can add your brushes then click file->default->Save startup. This will setup what gets loaded when you start Blender. Plus it will save the brushes with each blend file so you can send the blend file to others. The only thing that doesn't transfer as far as I know of is any custom icons for your brushes.

That's great to know! Thanks Dwayne! I'll definitely set that up.

Do you know if the brush asset library is on the works for soon release or more like a back burner kind of priority?

I think the Blender Institute keeps a log of stuff they are working on, road maps 5 years down the line. I think Martin keeps up with that, but you can always surf their website and find it. Or Martin will say where he keeps up with all the info when he sees this.

It just depends on how there test and development goes. Right now you can download a separate blender installs with what they are currently experimenting with.
