Even though I'm an annual subscriber I'm unable to download the course files. I've contacted support@cgcookie.com three times since early yesterday but all I've received are repetitive perfunctory replies - from someone named Amber - about cleaning up my cache or trying incognito window - rather lethargic and high-handed approach to customer support. I must say that I'm more than disappointed at the technical support. The latest reply from her was to wait until next week Monday for possibly someone else to look into this matter. I was determined to go through this boot camp course this coming weekend but will have to find something else.
Hello Young. Yeah apologies about that, the website just got a massive update one or two days ago and with that always comes lots and lots of glitches and bugs that need fixing. The whole community is reporting on things they find so the site can be up and running as fast as possible. For me the course files download in one browser and not on other, some people can't download them at all, others have no problem. So we're all having to contribute with a bit of patience and understanding until things have been ironed out. Sorry for the inconveniences, we're all going through them, hopefully it'll all be great like before in no time. But don't let that stop you from watching and learning in the mean time. We're all on CG Cookie's Discord having a bit of fun watching tutorials, you can join as well, the option is up there in the community tab.
Dear Omar,
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a sincere and compassionate reply, especially on a Saturday afternoon. I was just about to cancel my subscription based on my experience with a particular personnel at the customer support, but having read your reply I think I will stay the course. I should have posted my question here directly at the outset instead of contacting the support. Thanks again.
YYoungola you can't actually download the course files from a free lesson, go to a lesson that isn't marked as free and try again.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
Adrian, thank you so much for the final & simple solution. I wish the support could have told me that last week. Appreciate your magical and kindly answer on a July 4th weekend!
