Hihi, i just join today, new to blender.
I try to follow tutorial of human face, I can follow in the beginning, but suddenly when I need to do mask, it don’t work, even I did it before to make the neck and ear, but when i need to do the face triangle part, it stop functioning (cannot make the area black at all). Even i turn down the app, and reopen, it don‘t work
Try CTRL+M to toggle Mask visibility. It's a stupid shortcut, why would you want to hide the Mask Overlay?
And so easy to accidentally press CTRL+M in stead of ALT+M to try and Clear the Mask...reult looks the same.

Just uncheck that box and the shortcut is disabled.
