Question

I just realized that the Map Range node's fundamental theory is exactly that of what a compressor and a limiter does in music editing! It's doing the same thing visually as a compressor/limiter does for audio. (enter maniacal laugh...Muhahahahahahahaaa!)

I don't know anything about audio compressors (though I should because I use virtual ones while editing tutorial audio...) so this is an epiphany for me in the other direction :)

Haha! Excellent. Hint for great audio compression in tutorial style recording: Use a 5:1 ratio and bump up the "knee" just a hair. Thanks for all your hard work bro!
