Question about the light path node and reflection

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but is it possible to use the light path node to hide reflections from HDRIs? I don't fully understand how the light path node works. I'm working on a project where I use the lights from the HDRI but the background is transparent. I have several objects that have reflection, like glossy and glass objects, but the reflections from the HDRI show in the final render and I don't know how to hide them without making the objects less reflective.

Hey ssefiriya , yes you can.

I have set up this simple scene with a UV Sphere with a basic metallic shader, a cube and a plane.

If you use the Is Glossy Ray, this will use the HDRI to light the scene, but use the other background color for the reflections.

As you see, you still get reflection from other objects.
