Z Value changes while constrained on X-axis

Everthing's glitching out & not sure why.

I take the ball & set it's location to (0,0,0) by clearing the location. Then I press "g" on the root bone or body bone & constraint to x-axis by pressing "x". Then when I move it along, both the Z & Y values change, definitely a glitch. I could just start from scratch & make my own .blend file to complete it?

That won't do you any good. These are just rounding errors. There is a limitation to the precision of numbers in computers.

Strange things can happen, for instance:

open Blender and start moving the default Cube with G, X in one direction and keep moving it. Watch the X-Location. At a certain point (when it is long out of view), the sign will change; the Cube has jumped from -226,73m to 204.502m (numbers are fictional, just an example, the exact values depend on how far you are zoomed in or out)....

But these things won't influence the result of your exercise.
