Animation fine in viewport, but exploding in render. Why?

My animation runs exactly the way I would like it too in my viewport, until I render. I've baked the animation and previewed it, just to make sure it works, but then I render, and it starts exploding. I've tried to render about 4 different times, and even restarted Blender a couple times also. any ideas as to why this would be happening?

That is weird, when you baked it...

Could you post a link to your .blend file? (Via Dropbox, GoogleDrive, or...)

Well Chris, I am sorry, but I can't get any difference between Render and Viewport.

Usually, it is not recommended to render as video (Ffmpeg), but as single frames (JPEG,  PNG, or EXR), but that doesn't cause your problem. Maybe try re-baking....Try rendering a single frame, using your CPU...(It could be a GPU (driver) problem...)

Thank you for your help, i'll try the single frame method and see if that fixes it.

flyntot I can confirm what spikeyxxx wrote. The rendered images I rendered dont't show any exploding particles. I used my GPU under Windows 10 and rendered some frames approximately around the position shown in your rendered image. Maybe you hit "Current Cache to Bake" instead of "Bake"? Normally such a weird behaviour happens due to scrubbing the playhead back and forth in the timeline or changing the particle system system settings so that the particle simulation cache gets messed up. Could you solve the problem?

I am currently having the same issue. When rendered the animation shows particle explosions.

    Hey kkylenox ,

I have reviewed the above file,

and found there is a particle system on the smoke particle as well as the smoke emitter,

There should only be a particle system on the Emitter.

Have a look to see you haven't done the same.

If so, remove the particle system on the smoke particle.

Delete all bakes, check the particle settings on the emitter,

play the animation all the way through,

you should now see 161 frames in memory under cache of the particle system.

    now bake the particle system,

    And render.

You should now be able to launch without exploding your rocket.

    Hope this helps!
