usage of renderelements

Hello,

this was a nice course and its nice to composite in Blender itself. But i want to composite my renders in Photoshop or animations in Blackmagic Fusion. So it would be nice if by this kind of courses, there is a extra lesson in setup renderelements (or AOVs in other renders) and export this to a external software. Davinci Resolve have also a free version and instead of photshop you could use Gimp.

Hi mmike0815 - Thanks for watching! I'm interested in your suggestion. However to teach a workflow like post-processing in a separate app like PS or Gimp, in a way, is to recommend that workflow. I need a little convincing as to why that's worthy of recommendation.

Could you share your thoughts about why an external post-processing workflow is worth teaching / recommending?
