Tom's Blender progress

This was one of my first blender project, following along a youtube tutorial.

And this was one of the first, here at cgcookie. I have no graphic card, so I didn't render. That is why the smoke is yellow.

Here I started to mesh modeling a head, but that was before I discover cgcooke. Now I will sculpt instead, following along the modeling realistic characters with blender course, here at cgcookie.

Here is another usage of blender for me. I am a mathematican so I love puzzles. the piece above is part of a puzzle I try to solve. It consist of 25 puzzle pieces of the same form and to solve it it should form a cube when put together.

    That's an interesting puzzle...

Would be easier when having the physical one, but with absolute grid snapping and I would use random colors (for each piece) doable...makes you think more before placing a piece :)

Looking good! The information from mesh modeling a head will likely come in handy when retopologizing a sculpt. No skill is wasted! :)

indeed looking good so far, keep going...

Here is one little dog I made from the mesh primitive modeling challenge in the course Fundamentals of 3D Mesh Modeling in Blender.
