Being a crazy dog-lover and an ex-manga enthusiast, I decided to combine these two facets of my life into a picture. The little cat was inspiration from a simple doodle by Arina Tanemura (a manga artist I admire) and the dog is my idea of a cute version of a bull terrier.
This is my second 'original idea' render since I started learning Blender a month ago. More effort is necessary to improve it, but I will be moving on to newer projects. I'm still an amature with the particle system in Cycles. Will be working on learning more in depth on it for my next project. Apart from that, I created some diffuse textures for the first time (the floor is from cgtextures.com though).
Really enjoying Blender now. :)
