The Shogoth. A Godzilla sized Lovecraftian horror from beyond the stars that has slept in our oceans for time out of mind. It's awakening will bring about the breaking of the world and the end of humanity, unless the few truly mighty guardians of the planet rise up against it. One might say they need to "assemble" into some kind of "super powered team."
