The Gentleman Scoundrel Final

Made in Blender 2.70 for volumetrics. The label was built in Illustrator CS6. Rendered in cycles at 400 samples in just under 25 minutes, no clamping either! I am really happy with the noise level in this, though it took a lot of fiddling. I'm not sure what's up with the artifacting in that band around the cork, but I am hoping when I put a real cork texture on it that will help hide it, at least. Still to do: UV Unwrap and texture the cork, maybe add a normal map to put some subtle ridges on the part you grab on to, maybe tweak the lighting some to get a better reflection on the flared bottom of the bottle. In retrospect, I realize there are two "lies" on the label. I built the label for a project I did in a previous version of blender which was rendered on GPU, and technically it shouldn't be a single malt. Clearly, it's blended. >.>
