Retro-style Sportscar Model Final

The model is an original design in the style of late 1950s/early 1960s sports-racing roadsters, such as the Jaguar D-type and Lotus racers of the day. Completed in Blender 2.66a and rendered in Cycles at 200 samples (about 17 minutes to render). Background image is an HDR panoramic photo provided by Blender Cookie recently (Many thanks!). I really like the way the background is reflected in the paint. The wheels and tires are from a tutorial some time ago, I think it was by Andrew Price. And, of course, the model itself owes a large debt to the great Jonathan Williamson and his inimitable tutorials. This is the first model i've brought to this level of completion, and though it still needs a lot of work (I have much to learn about Blender!), I thought it would be fun to share it in its present unfinished form. Oh yes; I run Blender on a 2010 Apple Imac with a 27 inch display using a 3Dconnexion 3D mouse for view manipulation.
