Just a personal version of this tip. Rendered in 30 mins approx. in Blender 2.69, with LuxRender (Hybrid + GPU enabled).
Most of the compositing has been done in Blender but the reddish tint has been incorporated with Photoshop (the raw file is more or less a yellowish-mustard gem, which I didn't really like).
