Pumpkin Carving (Witch) First Attempt Final

This is my first experience at doing some pumpkin carving. Having some experience of sculpting and clay modelling I decided to tackle a pumpkin. Plainly it doesn't stand up too well against the level of work we'd expect, but its a hugely great in terms of learning experience. It's especially challenging in terms of how you plan to go about things and getting things right. Lack of proper planning meant that things went wrong and couldn't be corrected later. The pumpkin is also relatively small. But plenty can be learnt from being forced to plan. Having to be more decisive in what you are doing etc. But also requiring creating strong features, rather than necessarily a more wishy washy approach where you can correct absolutely everything in digital scultping and even clay modelling (up to a point, if the armature is fine)
