It might be a cliche setting but I wanted to do this particular piece after completing the pixel fundamentals course.
I spent around 2-3 hours on it, which is actually faster than I thought it would take me. I tried to keep the total number of colors down (I quickly counted 19) and didn't want to use transfer for blending.
I found the sky the most difficult. I went through different various of trying to create clouds before decided on the more simple approach that is shown. I think in the end I'm glad I went with the simple approach.
I wanted to play around with timelapsing so I grabbed one of the first free applications that I could find (note the free). So here's the timelapse!
