Dat rim....
Once again I wandered from the lesson plan. I built this as 3 pieces. One piece is the back part of the rim, a second piece is the reinforcing spokes with bolts from the bolt factory add on, and the final piece is the auto-locking hub. The first two parts were built using the array modifier, and the middle part is just a cylinder with some extruding and beveling.
All in all I am pleased with my results, though I don't know if I would want to try and change that bad boy while surrounded by zombies.
