So, I had many, many issues with trying to use a Boolean modifier on my catwalk grating that I put on the truck, and wound up having to use manual methods to trim down the grating. I am not very pleased with the results, but after two hours of trying to build a convincing chain link that didn't pan out and almost six hours, I am calling this part done and moving on to the next step before frustration saps my will to work.
I'll fix it in a later pass.
