This character concept art for a children's book features a fun, quirky little girl who likes math, fusion cooking, and wants to be one of the first astronauts on mars. She also thinks life is too short to wear matching socks. I scanned my line art into Photoshop and completed it there using a mouse (I'm still getting comfortable with a slate tablet). It took me about 6 hours total to finish.
