Mobile Game: Character Designs 1 / 2 Final

Photoshop CS5 - Wacom Intuos 4 Large - Part 1 / 2. Part of a job description: to take vague ideas and expand them. SeventhSanctum gave me: "A shiftless heir(heiress) searching for purpose". It would be for a mobile game but didn't know the demographic; decided on a maturing audience. I felt animal would suit the game design, story and environment. I produced a family, 2 of which would be a PC to explore the world and have their own story progression. I made deliberate design decisions keeping careful eye on the art style. I wanted it to be casual with an identifiable personality, and easy to model. Briefly left to right, and down: Arpi: in charge. Abbi: one everyone loves. Aric: know-it-all but otherwise disengaged – shiftless. Abia: tactician who needs purpose. Martesh: main enemy type. Grunnien: yak. Havildar: snow leopards. Civilians. Quail: restore happiness. Officially dead, might be loopy in the head. Representative of 3 key aspects in Indian culture. Chest is a chest.
