Mini-MagLite Anodized Aluminum Flashlight - High Poly Final

Model Reference: The real one from my desk drawer Time to Complete: About 8 hours for modeling, texturing and lighting Blender Version(s): 2.65, 2.66 & 2.67 328K Faces (164K faces per model), 500 samples, AO of .1 with distance of 10, HDRi image for global illumination and a couple of fill lights. Render time of 38 minutes (CPU). Yes, I have an old computer. I decided to model this mini flashlight some time ago as an exercise for myself and have come back repeatedly to tweak it since its initial “completion” around May of 2012. I finally decided to complete the textures, fix some errors in the original mesh (which can be found here: http://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/45096 ) and actually put the model into some sort of scene that made a bit of sense. I decided to show it in a disassembled and assembled configuration to show off some of the details that are lost when assembled. After a few more hours of tweaking this is the result. Hope you enjoy!
