This image was made for my middle school, Kapolei Middle School, here in Hawaii. It was for a contest they had where you could make anything you wanted, whether it be a drawing, photo, or anything. So I decided to enter and I won! I rendered this in Cycles, lit by only a sun lamp and a sky background for some Global Illumination. Also, there was some compositing with the Render Layers in Photoshop. It was done a while back (like a year ago), so looking at it now, I can see a lot of mistakes and things that I could have improved with more time. I had to reduce the size of it, because for the final image it had to be really hi-res for it to look good when they printed it.
