Entirely digital- From sketch to finish
Incorporating native elements from my home, New Mexico.
Initial ideas about this character came from a local tale of a woman named "La Llorona", The Crying Woman. I imagine Lady luz wondering about the land as a guide to passerby. Sort of like a Siren, she may either provide safe passage through the desert or lead you in circles until you drop dead from exhaustion. Her two lanterns glow either red or green in order to guide the lady safely through the terrain.
