I started this scene from nothing, I downloaded a western style typo and wrote something to get started, I only used Blender to create this scene, using the ANT Landscape generator for a base landscape, some modifiers to simulate realistic (I hope) rocks, and rendering everything with Cycle. The post process was also done in Blender
