I started with Andrew Price's lounge room tutorial (that's his furniture in the background) and added a few elements of my own.
500 samples. It takes my computer over an hour to render 500 samples so I thought I'd post work in progress while I am slogging along.
It's far from finished. Some parts of the drumset appear to defy gravity. I think I will rotate the drumset so that the wood grain catches more sunlight.
And I could at many more items to the room--more drums, a computer workstation/desk, furniture, an area rug (and a rug under the drums would add a bit of realism), sticks, mallets, headphones, an ipod...
Feel free to offer suggestions and tips.
