This sword is the Dragon Slayer, the masterwork of a renowned blacksmith called Godo. It was meant to kill a dragon with a single swing, but the smith did not consider the capabilities of the common human while he did his craft. Turns out Gats, a man who vowed emnity to the Hand of God, took the weapon as his own, for he had enemies much more dangerous than dragons and capabilities way higher than those of the common human.
