Photoshop CS5 – Wacom Intuos 4 Large – 8-10 hours.
A commissioned painting for a colleague. Lisa felt her original photo was in need of jazzing up and making more interesting, and, as a regular rider, wanted something to convey a sense of excitement!
It was a bit of a challenge figuring out how to get the right values down, and blend a photo ref with a painting style, but I think it's come out well!
I spent a little longer on this than I had expected to, but it was a total joy to produce. Thankfully, my client is very happy with the outcome.
