Commuter Ship Final

I quickly knocked up a space ship. Not as detailed as a Dan Brown creation. I decided to create a commuter ship rather than a intergalactic one so it's modelled on Southgate tube station in north London through which people commute into central London and home again in the evening. The circular bit is the street level building with the ticket office, the bit going down is the escalators and the engine pods are where the platforms and tracks are in the station. Southgate is a unique design and must have looked like something from outer space when it opened in 1933. The background is NGC2024 and IC434/B33 -- Flame Nebula and Horsehead Nebula creative commons licensed by s58y on Flickr - http://www.flickr.com/people/s58y/ Rendered in Cycles. 300 samples
