I made this using only Blender for a project in my Latin class. My process was basically make one section of the amphitheater, duplicate it using an array modifier, then add a transform modifier to rotate it into a circle, then just scale it along the x axis to make that circle more of an oval. Also I have no idea how to do lighting, but luckily, the project was not graded on lighting.
