Chemisera is one of the first OCs I designed for the portfolio I wanted to use to enter game design studies but due to my wrist injury I’m still not completely back to drawing painfree so I wasn’t able to make it in time.

Her character is stuck between life and death, she doesn’t believe that the afterlife will bring her any happiness given that there was very little in her life while she was alive and so she refuses to let the shinigami take her soul.
Her death was one of the most tragic among the ragtag friends she’s made of Chloran and Saniell. It’s never talked about but she was a famous person when alive, and if she’d tell the others they would probably recognize her. But strong magic user that she is, she hides her true identity. Only that shinigami looking for her soul knows who she was before. And she’s very adamant not to let that information slip.
Out of the three, it’s her who has the hardest time trusting the others completely, but she’s always teaching them magic and looking our for them on their journeys to discover why they died. She’s prepared for the day that they will, and find their identiy crumble around them, and to keep them from completely breaking.
Like her, the other two refused to enter the afterlife for a reason.
her name is also a mix of the words "chemistry" and "misery" cuz that's what she is all about
