CELIA Robot Final

Criminy! 30 pixels too small! Now I'll have to reupload. Why don't they have a delete feature? Describe yoThis has been an incredible project for me. It's amazing what a competition can do for your efforts. I really stink at this though. I don't have any expectations of really winning, but that's not important. Who ever heard of winning on your first try? Not for Vinnie. But I have learned a lot about Sci-Fi feels, as well as making your render appealing. I really like this character. I think for an on the spot design and concept she turned out exceptionally well as far as her design and model. I feel that in this competition she is out of place as she is much more sleek in her look, but that's not that important. I don't know where I got the name, or how I came up with the bio, but I figured every character needs a story before it can really become real, so here's her's. Name: CELIA (Climate Exploring Literal Investigation Agent) Appearance: Slim look, human-like arms and legs, robot/mega man style hands, flexible body, screen head, right index finger tool, shiny white and light-blue metal color Design: Built during the early days of climate control, CELIA was designed to aid in the global warming hype. Although equipped with a large amount of scientific instruments, the most used feature is her ability to convince any news reporter of any programmed subject. CELIA has a slim, flexible design. Her hands are the general kind among DURPA’s robots, but after joining the Team she replaced her right index finger with an interchangeable space survival finger that can transform into a number of different tools, including: a gun, a knife, a screwdriver (flat and Philips), as well as a hook. Early Work: CELIA was designed and created by DURPA for the use of Climate studying. Originally she worked in the climate control movement as a global warming media hyper. She later stopped working for the UN because she felt like all her scientific research abilities were being wasted because all she ever did was tell people global warming was happening with no evidence! Current Position: CELIA had never really held to the atheistic worldview of life just happening by chance. She knew that she was creatd, so how could man possibly not have had a creator? The whole deal was rather offensive for her, but it seemed that no one agreed with her. But than she discovered that a lot of people actually held to the creation belief. She was thrilled and wanted to get involved, but she wasn’t sure how to go about doing it. Then one day while browsing the internet, she discovered Creation Astronomy Now. Suddenly out of nowhere, she felt the urge and just had to get involved. So she contacted Vinnie about a position in the CAN clan. Vinnie was a little uncertain at first as he’d never been contacted by a robot before, and was uncertain how to react. But after careful consideration, he decided to try her out, and later signed CELIA in as the fourth member of the Creation Astronomy Now Team. CELIA now serves as a powerful debate tool after updating her system with the most common questions and answers about Creation and especially creation astronomy. She is also the only one besides Vinnie who knows what all the buttons on the control board do. Personality: Although CELIA can get frustrated when her CPU is running low, she is almost always Patient thanks to her Internal Graphics processor and her Solid State Drive. She will put up with you getting close to her as long as you don’t try to use her or hold her hand. She has never handed over her mouse for anyone else to use, and she will generally slap anyone who tries to touch her touch screen face. She dislikes all male robots who ask for dates, but rumor has it that she has a crush on the team’s droid Murfy. But don’t tell him; he wouldn’t understand. Future I don't know whether the model is going to go on for any future projects. I know I need to adjust the rig before using her in any of CAN's videos, but I have plenty planned for the character. Even though I probably won't win, I do have another character. And now that I have learned all this about robots I'm also planning on creating a Sci-Fi style, Castle Defense game based in space. It's a little far fetched right now, but I'll give it a shot. Who knows, I may be the next Rovio!ur image
