I've seen crows perched on scarecrows so I got the idea they aren't that effective. My idea was a scarecrow that was scared of crows.
Did most work in Blender 2.64. I had a spot on the armpit and torso that was slightly weird from the DOF and used Gimp to blur them to make them blend a little better. Also used it to scale the image down.
