The concept was to make an armored "Combat Medic" robot that will be able to retrieve and care for wounded soldiers. The robot can provide medical care while keeping the wounded soldier shielded from light arms fire. The treatment can continue until the robot gets back to the Forward Operations Base.
The large "claws" on the front can lift a person up and simply place them on the bed. The spreader and laser scalpel are meant to be used to remove shrapnel quickly. The laser scalpel can be used to cauterize wounds on lower settings. The hands are for utility and treatment. There is also a Med Kit on the shoulders.
