A skull WIP Final

I thought I'd try my hand at some traditional sculpting. Maybe I could transfer some of what I've learnt from sculpting in Blender? There have been some similarities in the process but the practicalities took me by surprise. I'm working in plasticine and just continually moving around a few kilos of clay has proven awkward. Obviously (but not so obvious that I'd thought about them beforehand :/ ) there's no x-mirror capability aside from using both hands, the model is affected by actual, real gravity and my space pilot doesn't work in real life. It's summer, it's hot (for South Wales) and the plasticine is stubborn when it's applied and really sticky when it's worked. Aside from repeatedly slapping my own forehead as I discovered the obvious, I've enjoyed it so far. Plenty to do, very much a work in progress but I thought I'd throw it out there. Roll them sleeves up and get stuck in :D
