How does this work?

There are three ways in, and you can start anywhere.

Free. Create an account and work through our Blender Basics tutorial, track your progress, and join the community. No card required. Create a free account.

Inner Circle membership. Stream 200+ courses, ask questions on any lesson, get mentor feedback on your exercises, and join live programming with our instructors. Billed monthly or annually.

CORE Fundamentals. A one-time purchase for people who'd rather own the curriculum than subscribe. Eleven courses, files included, yours to keep.

What's the difference between annual and monthly?

Everything in the membership is the same either way, with one exception: annual includes CORE Fundamentals 5.2 LTS and monthly does not.

The math is worth a look. Monthly comes to $335.88 over a year. Annual is $399 and includes CORE, which is $199.99 on its own. If you're planning to stick around, annual is the better deal by a wide margin.

Why isn't CORE included in the monthly membership?

CORE is a complete curriculum you can finish. If it were part of a monthly plan, it would make sense to subscribe for one month, work through it, and leave, and we'd end up building for people on their way out the door rather than the people who stay. Keeping CORE separate lets both products be what they actually are. Longer answer here.

I bought CORE. Can I put that toward a membership?

Yes. We'll credit what you paid for CORE toward an annual Inner Circle membership. Email support@cgcookie.com with the email address you used to buy and we'll set it up.

The same goes for individual courses bought from our Superhive Blender Shop. Try one à la carte, and if you want the rest, we'll apply what you paid.

How long does CORE stay current?

CORE Fundamentals is built on Blender 5.2 LTS, and we keep it current for the full supported life of that release. LTS versions get roughly two years of stability updates, so what you buy stays accurate against the version you're learning on.

Can I try a subscription before committing?

If you'd rather start smaller, monthly is month-to-month and you can cancel any time.

Do you have team or studio plans?
