That sounds useful Spikey, I would like to learn how to use it

  • Shawn Blanch(blanchsb)

ttobles yeah, but you could make a template for this stuff and then just grab it so you don't waste this time repeatedly every time

  • spikeyxxx

Omar, when enabled you can have different materials and different objects all have a unique ID, so you can mask them in or out in the compositor

I thought rendering it out would be easy but it is wicked again

Get instant access to this Live Stream.

This stream is part of week 2 in the August 2019 Class: "Get Started Building Stuff with Blender 2.8"

Texturing introduces color to your models but materials make your model appear to be plastic, or wood, or metal, etc. If you're asking yourself "What's the difference", fear not! I will make sure you know the difference by the end of this week.

We will also be exploring the Eevee engine and how it works together with texturing and shading for a realtime workflow.

Class Live Stream Schedule: RSVP to get notified when we go live.

  1. Week 01 - 3D Modeling with Blender 2.8
  2. Week 02 - UVs and Texture Painting
  3. Week 03 - Shading and Lighting with Eevee
