for the most part i dont really use them on there own its just pluged into painter to be used by some masks.

incase you need it to be doen with Offline renders or Realtime Raytraching since they you dont need AO
i use the AO and Cavitys to make the base color but that does not incluse the AO

depends on how the object is made since its more commen to have all the object separated like buttons and zippers and belts on clothing

I thought that cavity = curvature ahah
in substance and marmoset the AO map take all object in effect where the Cavity is per object does that make sence
[Q] cavity and convexity map combined is a curvature map.
