When the stream didn't end, it reminded me of the ending of a particular 80's movie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRJ38y4Jn6k

I'll do that. Thanks much for the classes and the info.

Oh I see - I've never used a hybrid with Blender myself. I believe @jlampel has a surface laptop. Maybe post a thread in the community forums about the question to see what Lampel and others have to say about it. Sorry I don't have experience to offer advice

Something like a self-contained digital display with computing power and (at least) USB storage capacity?

@theluthier ... I saw that ... I meant some type of laptop or hybrid ... a tablet requires a computer to go with it and I don't have a good portable laptop for modelling.

  • Kent Trammell(theluthier)

Those tablets are portable and inexpensive enough, and they'll work great for sculpting and/or mesh modeling

  • Kent Trammell(theluthier)

ppaulhaynes1955 I gave my ¢2 shpeel about tablets in this stream around 23:35: https://cgcookie.com/live_streams/bc1-1801-week-3-digital-clay

This event is part of the January 2018 Class, "Getting Started with 3D Modeling & Blender"

There’s still much more to learn about modeling with Blender! Remember, it’s a craft. Time + practice is the only way to develop your modeling skills. In today's stream we'll discuss the journey of becoming a skilled modeler as well as the potential for turning it into a career.

As the final Live Event for the class, I’m going to sift through homework submissions to commend my favorites and offer critiques!
