Kent, indeed, that's how I do it as well when teaching through gotomeeting, which also provides some amazing Muzak for the student's listening .... ok ... not pleasure, it's just painful usually! XD

The point of beginning broadcast 10 minutes prior is to avoid refresh confusion. But if this is more confusing than refreshing, maybe I won't go live prior. Thoughts?

Uma: I don't think it has officially begun just yet

pointoflife14 I like to start the stream 10 minutes early so people coming in don't need to refresh to see it. But I still start talking and such at the scheduled time. T-minus 6 minutes

hey i refreshed the page several times but the stream does not play

vvaculik I use dyntopo and multires sculpting for different approaches. Both are useful. A bit like apples to oranges though in terms of workflow. I'll talk more about that when we get started

    Hi :)

    Hey Jonathan!

Get instant access to this Live Stream.

In honor of the spookiest month, each week in October I'm going to be hopping on a stream to sculpt a goblin character with Blender. The little guy was designed by our very own Mr. Tim Von Rueden!

At this point, we've rounding second base on this sculpture. We need to finish roughing-in any spots we've missed, like the leather pouch backpack thing and the ropey bits. And I'd like to start pass 3 where we ramp up the details.

Come hang out. Learn some character modeling tricks-o-the-trade. Bring your questions about Blender, modeling, sculpting, CGC, art, movies, music - whatever - and let's have some Halloween-themed fun.
