Wood textures is a bit of a holy grail for procedural texturing. It’s a seriously tough nut to crack (sorry, I had to!).
Creating a convincing, procedural wood grain is something very few people manage, but it’s very much possible. By leveraging the power of Cycle’s node system we’re able to achieve a good result that is ideal for wood floors, wood paneling, and other cut wood surfaces.
