The "Musketeer Rapier" is an ancient Musketeer sword.
The Musketeers needed a sword as a secondary weapon because their reload time of the medieval weapons was really long so defending themself without their firearms was a must.
The logo on top of the cap is an Assasins Creed logo, symbolizing that this weapon is now used for assasinations.
Everything was done in Blender 2.66, modeling time around 6h, rendered with Cycles with 1000 samples.
The final render took 4 hours on my slow machine.
