Pick-up truck Final

Went through Jonathan's tutorial on the Post-Apocaliptic vehicle and delivered this. I really had fun creating all the different parts. There's still details to finish (license plate, sharper doors gaps, lights etc) but before to do so would be great to get additional feedback!

  • @jonathanwilliamson Thanks! I wanted to have the vehicle clean, as if brand-new to start with. It would be though interesting to make a dirty version of it, to compare (and a good exercise to work on textures).
    Regarding the tires, how could I do it ? The first things that comesto my mind are either sculpting or using a lattice, would there be either way? A soft body simulation sounds overdriven..

  • I can see that there is just a connection between the wheels and there are hanging and free. I would like to see some integration to the car esspecially on the back one. The color on the car looks flat and not shiny enough for a car. I guess the contrast between the crome and the normal military color are to big but the hardsurface modelling part is good and all in all it looks nice just these little things i would change. I will also have a look at this tutorial.
