Moon Eye Final

First Project I've ever done in Blender. I made this on version 2.4, back when it was cool lol.

  • very true but once you open the guts of it blender internal and cycles are exactly the same in the way they run, it's how they are managed that is different. Cycles is the ease of use kit, while blender internal is like the full control option that lets you do everything you want if you just try to learn and understand it. I find myself playing around with it from time to time and you can get the same results as cycles as I've done a few times, it just takes a few extra steps but the render is much faster because of it. Lately I've been teaching myself realtime rendering in blender so I can do exactly the same idea but in opengl for animation. I think it's the way to go for the fastest render and decent results as long as your willing to give up the some of the automated features. My goal with this is to produce dynamic cycles style results in realtime and then produce a start blend file to share for easy setup of it.

  • Nice. Everyone slams Blender Internal. It can produce some great results.
